APALIT, Pampanga — On July 24, 2026, the Lingap Matua Foundation, Inc. proudly celebrated its 1st Anniversary under the theme:
“A milestone of love to commemorate and the footprints of history to celebrate.”
The celebration brought together partners, volunteers, and local stakeholders in reaffirming the Foundation’s commitment to promoting the welfare, dignity, and well-being of older persons.
The event was honored by the presence of Mary Rose “Joey” Villaflor, whose inspiring message emphasized the importance of strong collaboration among government, the private sector, and civil society in advancing inclusive development and addressing poverty at the local level.
The anniversary also marked three historic milestones:
🤝 Signing of Memoranda of Agreement with Prime Multi-Skills Training Institute, Bison Management Corporation, and Japan Employment Provider of the Philippine Agency.
🌱 Turnover of a One-Hectare Parcel of Land generously donated exclusively for the Foundation’s future programs and services.
💙 Oath-Taking of Kalingap Members, who formally pledged their commitment to serve as dedicated volunteers for older persons.
Undersecretary Villaflor witnessed the signing of the partnership agreements, the turnover of the deed of donation, and administered the oath of the Kalingap Members. She also met with Foundation leaders and local government officials to strengthen partnerships and discuss policies that support both children and senior citizens.
As Lingap Matua Foundation celebrates its first year, it looks ahead with renewed purpose—building stronger partnerships, expanding its reach, and creating more compassionate and inclusive communities for every Filipino.
