Feel at Home
Lingap-Matua Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to improving the quality of life of the elderly through compassionate care and community-centered programs. We are the driving force behind the Apalit Geriatric Integrated Center, a pioneering model designed to be a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for senior citizens.

What We Do to Support and Empower Our Senior Citizens
Geriatric Elderly-Care Facility Center
Attends to senior citizens who are not properly cared for by their families. The facility center shall be provided with “ward-like rooms” or dormitory beds to cater the needs of identified elderly. Services of Physicians, Nurses, Caregivers, or para-medical personnel shall be made available on a regular basis. Meals/food shall be provided under a supplementary feeding program.
Geriatric Health Clinic
Which attends to the various aging-related sickness/ailment/ needs of the elderly. Health service may include free laboratory, check-up, medicine, etc. Access to free laboratory may be coursed through the Regional/ Provincial/ District/ Municipal Health Facility where medical laboratory is available through collaborative and networking system with concerned government agencies.
Geriatric Recreation Center
Provides measures and activities in an atmosphere of belongingness to ward-off loneliness, idleness, depression, and other aging problems. Routine activities like “get together”, exercises, reading-story-telling, singing, and dancing, games, TV shows, and prayer sessions shall be part of their daily activities. Serves as a day-care drop-AM;pick PM scheme. Provision of snacks shall be made available under a sustained support from the concerned LGU's " adopt a senior" advocacy campaign nd from the center's income generating projects.
Training & Livelihood Center
Initiates, develops, and implements productive activities and work schemes under an entrepreneurial environment for senior citizens in order to provide income. Seniors can be organized into Cooperatives to avail themselves of financing facilities, skills development, production, marketing, accounting and related activities. Younger adults shall likewise be capacitated through TESDA-based skills for local and overseas.
